At first, the makers of Godfather had quoted bloated prices for the film which discouraged many people from buying the film. After the disastrous result of Achary

a, the distributors were worried about whether Godfather would be profitable at such huge prices.

Due to this, the makers decided to release the film on their own in all the territories. They were hellbent on releasing the film at the quoted price itself. But now for some reason, the makers have started selling the film at reasonable prices.
